AMERICA THE....STINKY!?!?!

I’ve been having a fantastic day. I was on my way home and decided to pick up some things from Wal-Mart. So I’m humming down the aisle. Hopefully no one hears me because I’m in a zone. Then again if someone joins in, it can be a party. I was bending over looking for what scent I wanted in fabric softener when I caught a whiff of THE MUSTIEST people I’ve smelled in my life. They were walking down the aisle past me. I did a double-take and it hurt my nose again. I was so upset because it is just rude to be that way in public…not to mention ruining my happy tune.

I’m hoping that this next part isn’t offensive to some because it involves cultural diversity. The two women that passed me appeared to be Indian. I could be wrong though. Now, I’ve heard that in some cultures people prefer the au natural approach and are not accustomed to wearing deodorant. But come on, at some point is it not okay to adapt. At least try to in public. I had just put a different brand of soap in my cart because I wanted to bathe with a different scent. That didn’t include the soap, body wash, spray, and DEODORANT that I already had at home. I just wanted to be fresh in a different way. I’m not saying that anyone should abandon their customs to convert to things they don’t believe in. I fully understand that things are different in different places. I’m simply saying to bathe, brush your teeth, wear clean underwear, and slap on a lil something under your arms to not offend other people. Now I’m going to try to pick up where I left off earlier with my happy tune.

Moral of the story: If you don’t wash or wear deodorant stay your stankin-self at home!

Bye for now!
