I dont know if its good or bad that I really have these situations happen. In a way it seems like I have some of the worst luck when it comes to dating guys. Things will come out of the blue and basically put a stop to anything that might happen...if anything.
On the other hand, it can be the best luck ever!!!!! God knows that I'm really a "good one". The situations occur so that I won't waste my time with guys who wouldn't be good for me. At least I don't get a chance to get all into them before the negative things come along. They are basically making way for the one who will ROCK MY WORLD!!!

WORST LUCK/BEST LUCK (PT. 2)
I had to break up the two posts because you know I can be long-winded. Onto...the 2nd situation.
2. I went out with a guy who I've been cool with for a while. Long story short, we went to a restaurant that he suggested. I'd never been and am always up for a new experience. We ordered some food and talked for a few minutes. When the food finally arrived the waitress was seating a couple directly behind us. He said hello to the female, so I knew that they knew each other. He said they worked together. I assumed they were just coworkers and sometimes went to lunch there.
As lunch went on I noticed that dude's attitude had gotten kind of strange. He talked less, stopped eating, and was just "blah". He kept looking over my shoulder at their table. I said it seemed like he was sizing the female's date up. Whenever I'd make conversation he'd pretend like he wasn't looking over there and would look back at me. Whoa!!! Its one thing to run into someone you know while you're on a date. Its completely another when you're more into their date than your own. He left the table to go to get change for a tip. On his way back she asked him "what's wrong", he replied "nothing...whats wrong with you". To me that was a clue that something had gone on between them. WOW!!! When we left I looked down at her because nothing had been verbally confirmed, even though I had those "feelings". But I was still cordial and smiled. She rolled her eyes at me. That was confirmation. I just kept walking.
Hmmmmm....Being the intuitive person that I am I asked him if they had dated. He said "yes". Then he changed the subject and asked if I wanted to go to the movies later. I think he must've lost his mind or bumped his head when he went to get change. NO!!! He was just all in "la-la land" when i was trying to connect. Now he's all "happy-go-lucky". We aren't going to the movies and you can't get off that easily.
After he dropped me off he called me back to talk. I told him what I noticed and that it was rude for him to be all into their table when we were having lunch. Then the truth came spilling out. The female was his "ex-fiance". He'd heard about the guy, but never saw him. And when he went to get change, she came over to him and asked him questions about the date. OH HELL NO!!! That is too much extra....not to mention the fact that he didnt tell me that upfront. I had to shave his gums (forget pulling teeth) to get any information. Once again...those who know me know that I dont do the drama thing. Clearly...its not meant to be.
Oh well...another one bites the dust.

WORST LUCK/BEST LUCK (PT.1)
See I'm back...two days later!!! Whoo hooo!!! Anyway, onto my story.
I dont know if I have the worst luck or the best luck when dealing with guys. I recently went out with two completely different guys.
1. One I met at a store that I frequently go to (we'll call him BB). I wasn't even trying to "date" him, even though I knew he had a crush on me. He was nothing near the type I'd envision myself with, but there was something about him made him easy to talk to. The communication thing did make me wonder, but I just let things flow wherever they will. So we were cool. We talked often enough on the phone and when I went back to the store. I definitely thought we'd be friends although something about him that I couldnt put my finger on didn't seem right. My damn intuition...I should be some kind of psychic advisor.
Anyway, he'd gotten a movie that I wanted to see for a while. It was my first time meeting him outside of the store. I went to his house to watch it. He also cooked. But while I was there we just talked (nothing personal), watched the movie, and ate. His apartment also didnt allow me to get reception, so I had to sit my purse on the sofa by the window. It was silent, but I checked it periodically.
Here's where the drama begins: After I ate, I checked the phone and there were 10 missed calls. I said "excuse me...but I never get this many missed calls. This must be nothing less than an emergency.". There were 2 messages from familiar folks, and 8 from "HIS GIRLFRIEND"...that i didnt know existed. WTH!!! Oh I dont think so. I had to listen to the message 3 times to make sure I was listening to what i thought I heard. I told him someone who said she was his girlfriend left a message on MY PHONE. He said it had to have been his daughter's mother. But once again...MY PHONE!!! He said she must've gotten it from his online cell phone bill. But how did she know I was over there then. Now anyone who knows me also knows that I don't do the drama thing. So it was time to go.
I told him i was leaving. He wanted to walk me to my car, but i told him that I could manage. Hell, i didnt want some psycho chick throwing something at me in the parking lot. I was better off leaving by myself. Then she might not know I was the one who left his place. I can't stand lying a** folks.

BACK IN THE SWING O' THINGS
Okay...i know that "till next time has almost been 2 months". But I'm gonna give this blog thing another stab. Didja miss me?!?!!? Okay, lets recap shall we (from my holey memory):
Time gone by....
Time gone by....
- 4/4= My birthday....went to ESPN zone, met some lames, left, went to Sportsline, watched game (?), went home...gotta do better next year)
- 4/27= Madea Goes to Jail....OFF DA CHAIN!!!! If you haven't been to any of Tyler Perry's productions, you should definitely see one live. It would be well worth your money.
- 4/30= Celeste's surprise birthday gathering....We got a little surprise party/cookout together for her at V's house, she got a migraine, came late (which worked out cause we were on CP time), she was surprised, played Taboo, had fun
- 5/27= Went out with Daniela & folks... Had a flaming Dr. Pepper for the 1st time(Amaretto & 151 in a shot glass, light it, drop it in half cup beer, and drink). It was really good, but potent. BEWARE!!! We went to a strip club (1st timer), then went to MJQ...an underground club. We had a really good time that night. I'll hang with those guys and gals anytime.
- 5/29= Memorial Weekend Reunion....Sharvette, Letrice, Daniela, Gayle, Jay, some other couple, and another guy, Tavi wasn't there but was missed.Vette had a shindig at her new place. Well new to me since 1st time i saw it. Trice is moving to Miami...yes place to stay!!! Watched some on-demand dating...damn shame. There was one woman in particular on there that was scary (crooked wig, old as dirt, and a lotta overboard with her something...just was scary, but hilarious)
- 6/3= Ride to N.O....I rode home with Vincent and Danielle M. for Trey's graduation picnic. Didnt do too much on Friday night, just visited w/ KP and Brina (the cousins) for a sec, went to the store with Stacia (bro's g'friend), and played family feud with the Fam (me, brothers, stacia, and mom). Saturday was the graduation picnic...it was really nice. It was Lafrenniere park by a pond big enough to paddle boat. I went bowling and played pool with Ryan, Stacia, and DC (brother's homie) that night. Stacia's sisters also came through, but the alley was about to close. I finally got to watch Meet the Browns (Tyler Perry plug)on the way back to Atl Sunday.
Okay now you've been brought up to speed. We're current now!!!!
